Plaza de la Vendimia y las Casas Colgantes
Plaza Vendimia is another famous square in Cómpeta, which fills up especially during the Noche del Vino. The square is home to three ceramic mosaics depicting the making of Muscatel wine, from the grape harvest to the pressing of the grapes. In the square, you can also admire the views of the Casas Colgantes (Hanging Houses).
These are a group of white houses perched on the rocks above the old course of the river that used to divide Cómpeta, near Barranco Pérez and Calle Arroyo. The location of the houses makes them look as if they are hanging above the river.
